Questions & answers

Ask us anything. We'll answer it clearly.

No fine print, no dodging the hard ones. Here are the real answers to what people ask before — and after — they start with ClarityDo.

The system

What ClarityDo actually is.

Start here if you're trying to understand what makes this different from the dozen apps you've already tried.

How is ClarityDo different than other productivity apps?

ClarityDo works one level deeper. Productivity apps help you do more, faster. ClarityDo helps you decide what's worth doing at all — and shows you whether your effort is maintaining your life or actually moving it forward. That's a different question, so it's built as a different system: one that gives you clarity on your direction, not just a faster way through your list. If other tools left you busy but stuck, this is the one designed to change that. See exactly how it compares on the comparison page.

Will ClarityDo fit into my day?

Easily — it's built to fit around your life, not the other way around. The Maintain layer holds your day-to-day: quick to-dos, deep tasks and lists. The Elevate layer is for the bigger moments — Challenges when you set a goal for yourself, and Decisions when you're facing a major life choice. And with built-in mental reset and reflection tools, ClarityDo doesn't just fit into your day — it prepares you for it, leaving you more capable of adapting to whatever the day demands.

What's the difference between Maintain and Elevate?

Maintain is everything that keeps your life running day to day — quick to-dos, deep tasks, lists, habits and routines. It's essential work, but it rarely changes your trajectory. Elevate is the smaller, higher-stakes layer that actually moves your life forward: Challenges when you commit to a goal, and Decisions when you're facing a major life choice. Most apps blend the two into one endless list, which is exactly why a full day can leave you feeling like nothing moved. ClarityDo keeps them separate on purpose, so the work that matters most doesn't quietly get buried under the work that simply repeats.

What is the Movement Index?

It's the honest answer to a question a to-do list can never give you: did this week actually move anything? Instead of counting tasks completed, the Movement Index reads where your effort really went across the areas of your life — and shows you what's getting attention, what's being quietly avoided, and whether you're maintaining or genuinely progressing. It gets more honest the longer you use it.

Do I have to use every part of it?

No. The daily Maintain layer is the heart of it, and it works on its own — quick to-dos, deep tasks and lists to run your day. The Elevate tools — Challenges, Decisions and the deeper reflection — are there for when life actually calls for them, not something you have to keep up with. You reach for each part at your own pace. Nothing is busywork, and nothing is mandatory.

Getting started

The first six days.

How you actually begin — and what happens if it turns out not to be for you.

What is the six-day orientation?

It's the gentlest way we found to hand you a complete system without overwhelming you on day one. Each day introduces one layer — one theme, one or two focused steps, five to ten minutes — until the whole thing is built around the life you actually live. It isn't a tutorial you sit through before the real app starts. The orientation is the first act of using ClarityDo.

Will ClarityDo actually work for me?

Yes.

But assume it doesn't. You still walk away having learned to make good decisions — and a full year to practice it. How much is that worth on its own? ClarityDo gives you that, and more. Compare it to a list app: stop after two years, and nothing has changed. You stay where you started.

Do I need to bring my existing tasks and notes over?

You don't, and we'd gently suggest you resist the urge. Importing a thousand old tasks just recreates the same undifferentiated pile ClarityDo exists to untangle. The orientation walks you through bringing in what genuinely still matters and deciding it as you go — so you start with a clear head rather than a migrated mess. Most people find the empty start is the point.

Pricing & plans

One price, answered honestly.

No tiers, no traps, no fake sales. The full breakdown lives on the pricing page — the short answers are here.

What exactly do I get for $69.99 a year?

The entire system — all five layers, daily and weekly planning, the Movement Index, Decisions, habit and pattern tracking, and the Mind Space tools. There is no higher tier to upgrade to and nothing held back behind a paywall. One price, the whole thing, from day one.

Why is there no free tier or lifetime plan?

Because the subscription is the whole business model. We don't run ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't dangle locked features to push you toward a bigger plan. A free tier would mean monetising you some other way — and that other way is always your attention. A lifetime deal would mean we'd have no reason to keep improving it. The yearly subscription keeps us pointed at your progress instead of your wallet or your eyeballs.

Is $69.99 worth it when there are cheaper apps?

That depends entirely on what the problem is costing you. If your effort isn't compounding into the life you want — if you're carrying an unresolved decision, ending weeks feeling that a lot happened and very little moved — then $69.99 is a fraction of what one well-made decision is worth. ClarityDo isn't priced as a task manager; it's priced as infrastructure for a directed life.

Will the price really go up — and what happens to me if it does?

Yes. $69.99 is early-user pricing; the standard price will be $89.99 a year. If you start now, you keep $69.99 — the increase applies to people who join later, not to you. Starting today is simply the cheapest it will ever be, and there's no asterisk waiting to claw that back.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, with the entire system open from day one. You won't be charged until the trial ends, we'll remind you 24 hours before it does, and you can cancel in two taps through the App Store. Try it properly before you decide.

How do I cancel?

Your first 7 days are a free trial — cancel before it ends and you're never charged. After that, billing is handled entirely by the App Store, so you can manage or cancel in two taps, anytime — no support gauntlet, no dark patterns, no dozens of screens. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We'd love to know what didn't click, but we'll never make leaving hard.

Privacy & trust

Whose side we're on.

A planning app sees the most personal parts of your life. Here's exactly how we treat that.

Do you show ads or sell my data?

No, and we never will. There are no ads in ClarityDo, no trackers selling your behaviour, and no third parties buying a window into your life. The subscription is the entire business model precisely so we're never tempted to monetise your attention. You're the customer here — not the product.

My plans are personal. How private is my data?

We treat your data as exactly what it is: a private record of how you're trying to live. It's used to power the system for you and nothing else — never sold, never mined to target you, never handed to advertisers. You can export or delete your information whenever you like. If you ever want specifics on how something is stored or handled, ask us directly and you'll get a straight answer from a person.

Is the whole system really included — no surprise add-ons later?

Really. Every layer is in from day one, and every future update is included in the same subscription. We're not building a base app with a queue of premium upsells behind it. When we make ClarityDo better, you get it — that's the whole arrangement.

Is ClarityDo a genuine product?

Yes. ClarityDo: Decision Planner is built and maintained by Strategic Fulcrums Pvt. Ltd., India. It has been on the App Store since November 21, 2025.

Devices & support

Where it runs, and who's behind it.

The practical questions about platforms, access, and reaching a human.

What devices does ClarityDo work on?

ClarityDo is built for iPhone, iPad and Android — a focused, native experience rather than a stretched-out website. You'll find it on the App Store and on Google Play.

Is there an Android or web version?

Android, yes — ClarityDo is on Google Play, alongside the App Store version. A companion web experience is not here yet — if that's what you're waiting for, tell us. We genuinely weigh what people ask for when we decide what comes next.

How do I reach a real person?

Easily, and you'll reach an actual human — not a ticket queue or a bot. Email us and someone on the team reads it, usually within a day. We're small enough that your message lands with the people who actually build ClarityDo, and we like it that way.

Didn't find your answer?

Ask us anything — the same people who build ClarityDo are the ones who answer. No bots, no scripts, no waiting on hold.
