Reflections on Time.

A watercolour illustration of an old stack of books, a quill and lit candles.

Time is a river, flowing fast, We can try to stop it, but we will not last.

All we can do is to choose wise, Whether to fight this tide, or learn to float along its side. To fight the gush of time, we learn to feel the bruise. To work with time, is to find our flow, To let the current of time power our dreams, show us the vastness of life and its glow. For both life and time are such precious things, Let us savor all the joy they bring.

Its companion piece, Will Your Story Count?, sits with the same question from the other side.
